What made things difficult was that we didn't have the right tools. What I would have given for my orbital sander and wood chisels sitting at home in my shop! We could have run the sander off of a power inverter hooked to a vehicle and saved ourselves a day of work. Wood chisels would have saved another day. What you see Grant using there is a die punch for metal.
